It is the parent’s responsibility to see that the student arrives prior to the appointed time for class to begin. Consistent tardiness will result in dismissal from school at the discretion of the Administration. A student is considered tardy at the time class begins. Three (3) unexcused tardies count as one (1) unexcused absence.
If a student is expected to be picked up by someone other than a parent or guardian, the office must be notified IN WRITING. We will ask for identification from the person if he or she is not listed on the Authorized Pick up Form.
For safety and insurance reasons, no student may arrive at school before 6:45 a.m. and the school will accept NO liability for students on the school grounds before that time. PARENT COOPERATION ON THIS MATTER IS MANDATORY. Students need to be supervised at all times. We provide supervision on the playground area from 6:45 a.m. and we charge a fee for the time on EDC. The janitor, teacher, or any other staff member will not be responsible for taking charge of your child.
The same policy applies after 2:40 p.m. as students are waiting for rides or have not departed campus by 3:00 p.m. They must report to Day care staff and we will charge a fee. Any student on the grounds after 3:00 p.m. will be charged an EDC fee. There will be extra charges per minute for any student not picked up by 5:45 p.m.
You must sign your child in each morning and sign out each afternoon.
